An aftermath enlightened

It came to me
Quite quickly it might seem
To simply rely on a radiant beam
Fragile and mysterious
Glittering briefly
A glimmer of peace and hope
Right after our devastating storm
Wrapped in the arms only lukewarm
Breaking from just the dust
Wading in a class
Sunk in this morass
Never content
Not willed to settle finally
Now fracturing rebelliously
